Question Chicagoland Scrap Guys....cash

Anyone in the area know or deal with guys paying cash for materials?
I have tin plate steel (laminated), pallets, ldpe (regrind), hdpe (regrind), cardboard, ********, nylons 66 (regrind) and even some machines with lots of iron and steel on them.

My guy now is stiffin me big time. I know it's not gold but, a lot of people make a living of this stuff. It's butter to someone out there!!
