You paid HOW MUCH for gas?!

3.85 here in Central IL (cheap gas, its just under 4 for the V-power)
The wife and I have been tracking our gas in our Blazer ZR2,,,last 3 months are $500.00 each (just gas, nothing else),,and other than having to drive to Galesburg and back 4 times a month (240 highway miles),,we only go to work and home...
We just bought a Pontiac G5 GT to replace the Blazer,,,our average so far is 29 mpg,,which is almost twice as good as the ZR2,,,,
I wasnt in to much of a hurry to get the TA moved over in the garage to make some room for the G5, but since reading this,,i think i will want to keep it in there under lock and key.

Well guess what I pay only $1.88 for 93 and $1.62 for 87 at Benton, MO. The place is called Boomland (aka the firworks store) it is also a BP gas station. Between Sikeston and Cape Girardeau, MO.

I hope not. I'm a big fan of aimlessly driving around. Even when premium was 4.something I would throw 20 in the car and drive around until it was gone.(Which was only 1/3rd of a tank at the time.)

I hope not too... if it wasnt winter blend I would pick up a few 55 gallons drums at this price.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that the prices stay down long enough for me to actually reap some of the benifets of it.. For now tho, I will just keep filling up and not taking such a hit to the ole wallet.
