there are subways, but they suck by nyc standards.

hard-rock is a block north of randolf, which would be lake street.

green building on the right is the HR hotel, smrufitstone on the left side

When using the Chicago train system you just have to understand where each branch goes. For instance the one by my office also continues on to about four blocks from my house, but it does not go to O'Hare. For $1.75 one way it's very useful.

I know which one it is...it's my favorite.
You're right about Randoplh...always get that and Washington mixed up as far as what's where.
