Default Farewell 1995 Civic

We have been using my wife's first car, a 95 Civic, as a beater. It got stolen a month ago, and was recovered a few weeks later on the South side.

In any case, due to the fact that we kept in great condition, kept receipts, and it had only 51,000 miles, we got a total of $5800 which includes being reimbursed for the plates and the taxes.

Yeah.

Word to the wise. State Farm uses NADA.com for a lot of comparos. We had to negotiate with them on the amount, we faxed them 10 other examples from around the US of cars selling for 5-6k with low mileage.

State Farm WAS the shiznit until they dropped me, my brother, and my sister as a FAMILY for having to many claims. But we all had seperate policies that was bullshit but anyway. I know what you mean I bought a 92 Chevy 1500 for $2700 and well I had a State Farm loan to build credit so I had to have full coverage and it got totaled and they gave me $4500 it was awesome. I got more from that truck then I did from my 94 GMC 1500. There was no negotiation needed they just said HERE YA GO!!!
