Thats OK,I drove a 3.4L for six years and thought it was great! But if you don't plan on making a change now, whatever you do,don't drive a LS1!!! T he minute I tried one,I was hooked!I have to buy a higher grade of gas,but get better mileage no matter how heavy-fotted I am!

How much are you willing to spend on rims? I think some of the best rims ive seen on a f-bod are ccw's or hre's wheels. They are expensive but i havent seen any better than those. Plus you can make them any size you want.

z28 in Beverly Shores, IN (right betweeen Michigan City and Chesterton)

I travel a lot but would love to get together sometime. Probably not until spring when the modding bug will surely go nuts.

I've got a super high mile (152k!) 99 z28 with no history of the car but it runs pretty amazing for that many miles. Bought at dealer auction. I suspect a rebuild in the last 50k and some tuning (hey, where did that traction control fuse go? I thought when finding an empty space in the box). Drove it up from Florida.

Trying to control spending impulse until the weather gets nicer. Will definitely be my daily. I envision a procharger. Just a lid, sfcs, and upgraded rear shocks for now.

Have a race gas only 72 cutlass that is pushing 400rwhp and is just insane but have been traveling a ton and wanted something fun with some modern amenities The z28 fits the bill perfectly.

(and I should mention I've got an emissions pass until 2008, let the modding begin)

BTW my name's Erik

P.S. I may hit up crappy US41 with the Cutlass on the 26th. Looking for low 12s if I can borrow a pair of slicks and no one blows oil all over the lanes!
