Default Speeding Ticket question - need help!

I got pulled over in a car that's registered to my Dad. The cop took my license and issued me the ticket, but the ticket is with all of my Dad's personal info and driver license # too. What do I need to do to make sure that my Dad doesn't recieve the ticket? Isn't the ticket void now that it's false? How would I get my license back without having the ticket on my record. Also, I'm supposed to be taking that 4 hour class on Dec. 16th, will this ticket mess with that at all?

Thanks.

actually yeah tickets should have the drivers info on it not who the car is registered too... its pointless to write up the owners/registered info on the ticket, when the driver at the time of violation broke the law, regardless of whose car your in

that ticket should be able to be dropped....

if the ticket is not dropped and your are found guilty, the only chance you might have with preventing a mark on your record is to have an 8 hour class a month after your 4 hour.

what county is the ticket in?

What ever county Rolling Meadows is in.
Do I call someone to let them know they issued the ticket to the wrong person? Or should I just request a court date?

This ticket won't go on my Dad's record until then, right? I just don't want it on his record to start...then I'll get it of mine! (Hopefully)

How would they give him a ticket if they took your license and not his?

Not too sure on what happened. I was thinking though, I really can't be driving legally now, can I? Since I don't have a license and I'm driving with a ticket that is in my Dad's name.
-Is there someone I can call?
