Because it takes me about 3-4 hours to drive home in a major snow storm. That's why.

Just got the snowblower fired up. Fresh gas, cleaned the plug and carb, and it fired up on the first pull.

Ok, looks like the heaviest snow will be between 3am and 9am, that's just great. I get on the road at 5:45am for work.

Should be fun as hell!!!

At least things should be cleared up for the ride home.

Those seem to be the only accurate forecast anymore, lol. Im off work right now due to carpal tunnel surgery, so im gonna just sit in the chair all morning and watch everyone have fun driving in the snow out my front window. Im just north of Rockford and the 10 o'clock new is saying 7-12". You guys in the big city are supposed to get even more!

Not too much snow yet. I should have been at work about 30 mins ago, but a broken daily driver has me sitting at home now waiting for the dealer parts counter to open.

Good news is, by the time I get the repair done and get on the expressway the traffic should be light and snow coming to an end......
