Still at home (near-north chicago 'burb), I'd say we got about 6-8"...some seems to be melting as well.

Just to think, I was actually running early this morning and would've made it to work fine if the DD hadn't broken first thing. So instead I limped the car back home, hooked up the scanner to check the DTC (was P1406), drove the wife to work in her car, then drove up to Glenview through the worst part of the storm (8-9am) to pick up a new EGR valve for my L36 car. Then got home and put the damn thing on in the driveway during the heavy snowfall, then spent an hour clearing the driveway to get out. And after all that I've decided that it's just not worth going to work today. WTF!?!

That's crazy that Chicago gets dumped on with snow, and I didn't get any.....We just got buckets and buckets of rain. Flooding & 55 mph winds were on today's menu.

The good: At least with snow I don't get a flooded basement.

The bad: I hate snow.

The ugly: Getting caught up at work on Monday is gonna be hell.

You make a good point there. I don't like snow either. I was very glad that it missed us.

I saw a lot of blown-over trees & business signs on my way home tonight. All the rain saturated the ground enough that stuff easily fell over in the strong winds gusts.

No more snow damn it!
As it is now it will be at least a month before the roads have any chance at all of being salt free. That is provided it doesn't snow again during that time!
Damned off season. At least 24 will be back on soon!

Damn right. I've been using the '05 Greeting Card for too long now. The holiday season is already upon us and RPM has no official greeting card. WTF!?

Let's get busy! I'll come by this weekend with some cash and weapons. I've got some medieval looking type **** we could possibily use. Maybe some pills, syringes, and other assorted/miscellaneous paraphernalia as well. I'm sure Jason could help with that.

Or we could do it at my place. We'll discuss on Saturday.

PS. Check your e-mail.

yeah bro, i hear ya. luckly my bro hasn't really been going anywhere so i've been able to drive his sweet neon as of late, but i still have taken out the t/a a few times and it actually hasn't been that bad. Oh and there's this black firehawk, he has plates that say SLP BIRD, that's out there in the dominick's parking lot down the road, just about everyday, rain or snow, i think it's pretty sweet it see a nice *** ride like that out everyday, and know that it's actually being driven.
