Hell Ben, you can do it for him

BTW, we're changing COFBA this year into something bigger. CR is growing as well, so I'll keep people updated. But right now, the real-time events are through CR, so if you're not a member or are a lurker, get back over there and that way you'll be up-to-date on ****.

Man this weather sucks. I offered to help him with the LT install when it warmed up a bit. I wonder if he decided to go ahead and knock it out.

I have a clutch install staring me in the face 0- not looking forward to that!

I read in your sig that you have an LT1, I did LT's, !EGR / !AIR, Y pipe on my LS1 and it wasn't hard just time consuming. It would have been shorter had I trusted my friend and not checked all of his work. You would definently benefit from someone fitting up and tightening the headers but other than that you could do it yourself.

I can't fault you there. I wouldn't have finished getting my headers into position as quick as I did w/o my buddy. I would recommend header bolts with a taper like the stockers or just reuse the stockers, I had a couple of bolts almost get cross threaded. The biggest pain on my install had to be the fitment of the y-pipe which you shouldn't have considering your setup. I also did my install without removing my coil packs and that I would change if I did it all over again.

It's almost easier to remove the tranny to do headers. I had mine done in 10 minutes with the tranny out

In that case, when the time comes to install headers, I'll just do it without the tranny or motor in place.

Oh wait, neither of them are in the car right now anyways.

If you want the practice you could always install my headers and duals. Just a thought.
Should we try for a Wed. night or a Friday night?

I think NTR is does not open until April. Would that be enough time? I would also like to do the exhaust before I go, but I still have to install sfc and a loop.
