I hope that everyone had a nice weekend.

As you know, the first event of the year is scheduled on May 12, 2007 - Project Two Customs Car Show and Open House. I wanted to provide everyone with logistical information as well an update as to who is planning on attending given that the weather is good. I will be sending our another email regarding this event on Thursday, May 10, 2007. At this time, we will better understand what the weather is going to be for May 12, 2007. Please be sure to check your email during this week.

(1) Logistical information: We will be meeting in between 3:15PM and 3:30 PM at the Waukesha County park and ride lot 67-05 - http://www.dot.state.wi.us/travel/pa.../d2/pr6705.htm. At 3:30 PM, we will depart from the park & ride lot and follow each other to Project Two Customs (which is about a ten minute ride from the Park & Ride Lot). Please note that I am trying to get all of us to pull into the show together. Parking will not be an issue as Project Two Customs has taken out a permit to close down the street.

(2) I have listed those that indicated they are attending the show below. Right now, we have 70 people (Not including the friends of individuals below who will be coming with their cars, but I do not have their email address). If you plan on attending the event, please let me know by responding to this email if your name is not listed below. The reason behind this is that I will create a check list of everyone who is attending so we know who is coming and do not leave anyone behind at the park & ride lot. Thus, if I do not know you are coming, I obviously can not wait for you at the park and ride.

I hope that more of you decide to participate. It is going to be a fun event. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I would like to get 100 cars meeting at the park & ride lot to participate. Hopefully, with more participation, we can get there in a few weeks.

I hope that you had a nice weekend. Seems like time has flown by, as this Saturday, May 12, 2007 marks the Project Two Customs Car Show and Open House, our first event of the year.

Just a quick reminder that if the weather is good, we will be meeting at the Waukesha County Park & Ride Lot 67-05 in between 3:15 PM - 3:30 PM. We will depart form the Park & Ride at 3:35 PM and head on over to Project Two Customs (Which is about a ten minute drive).

If you are coming from the Illinois (Any part), Racine, Kenosha, Lake Geneva, Burlington, etc. areas, there are individuals who will be meeting to caravan to the Park and Ride lot. If you would like to join them and follow each other up to the Park and Ride lot, send me an email and I will put you in touch with Paul. He will send you the details on where they are meeting right off of the freeway.

I have listed the individuals who are meeting at the Park & Ride Lot below. I will be creating a check list for everyone to be sure we do not leave anyone behind. If your name is not listed below, then I do not know that you are coming and meeting us at the Park and Ride Lot. Thus, I can not wait for you if you are a few minutes late and caught in traffic. I look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. We should have over 100 cars meeting at the Park & Ride Lot, and it will be a lot of fun. After the show, a number of us are going to grab a bite to eat, so we can all decide where we want to go at the show.

As many of you know, the Friday, June 15, 2007 Meet & Greet Cruise to Gurnee, IL Car Show is coming up. With this in mind, I am currently taking roll call for who is going to be participating.

Please note that I need to know if you will be meeting me at the College Avenue Park & Ride (Southwest Lot) or will be meeting us at Gurnee, IL (Details directly below).

I will be parked at the entrance of the College Avenue Park & Ride (Southwest) to check everyone in at this event (If you are participating in the cruise). This way, I can meet everyone as well, which I did not get a chance to do at the first event. I will need everyone at the Park & Ride lot by 6:45 PM, as we will depart right at 6:50 PM to get to the show. (If I do not know you are coming, I can not wait for you if you are late). I will be at the College Avenue Park & Ride lot at 5:30 PM so if you want to come early and talk to guys at the lot, please do so. I will work to get College Avenue blocked off by the Police department so we can all put on the freeway together and follow each other to the show.

Please respond to this email (jmg853@gmail.com) with the following information (1) If you will be participating so I can mark you down on the check list, and (2) where you will be meeting us (College Avenue Park & Ride, or Gurnee, IL). The goal is to get as many guys on the cruise to Gurnee, IL as possible. I think we should be able to get well over 100 cars on the cruise. Hopefully, with your participation, we can get 200 on the cruise. It is going to be fun.

Obviously the weather has to be good for this event and I will be sending a few emails like I did the first event to let everyone know about the forecast. More to come as we approach this date.

2007 Cruise Dates:
(1) Friday - June 15, 2007 - Meet & Greet Cruise To The Gurnee Car Show
This first cruise will be a meet and greet for group introductions and to get to know everyone. For the members that will join the cruise from WI to IL, we will meet at the Milwaukee County Park & Ride Lot - http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/.../d2/pr4020.htm (Lot 40 - 20) in-between 6:15 PM and 6: 45 PM. We will then leave the park and ride lot and go to the Gurnee Car Show at promptly 6:45 PM, following each other in a line down the freeway. For those individuals that will be meeting us from the Chicago and do not want to join the parade down from Wisconsin, we will meet off of Rte. 132. Basically, take rte. 132 off I-94 to the 2nd stop light which is Gurnee Mills Circle West. Turn right and go North thru the stoplight and the next stop sign about 1/4 mile total to the parking area on the right ( You will see the Gurnee Mills movie theatre to the right). Z06 Bob will be in this parking lot so you will see him/his beautiful black LG Z there as well. The plan is to be at this location by 7:20 PM - 7:30 PM. After the show, if the group wants we can cruise somewhere together and get something eat.

As I mentioned above, I will send out a subsequent email message to everyone as we approach this date with more logistical information. Within this email, I will also create a spreadsheet with everyone who is joining the cruise. Given that timing is important for this event, it will be critical that you inform us if you attending and where you will be meeting (Either at the park & ride in Milwaukee, or at Gurnee off of Rte. 132 (As described above). Obviously, the weather on the Friday, June 15, 2007 has to be nice, but everyone please save this date. Please feel free to invite your friends that have neat cars to join as well.

Upcoming Events (After the June 15, 2007 Meet & Greet Cruise To The Gurnee Car Show)
(2) August 2007 - Generac Power Weekend - Road America Champ Car Race
Depending on what the group wants to do, we will either attend the Generac 500 / American Le Mans series race Saturday or the Generac Champ Car Grand Prix Sunday. We can decided during the June 15, 2007 Meet & Greet what date we all would like to go. The meeting spot will be the Milwaukee County Park & Ride Lot - http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/travel/.../d2/pr4030.htm (Lot 40 - 30) again, and will follow each other to Road America and all park together. For those individuals that live closer to the track , we will determine a spot a location that we will meet you at near the track so we can all pull in and park together.

(3) September 2007
- Fall Cruise - September 2007 - Start at HP Performance Corvettes, then cruise back to Kelly's Bleachers II (Racine, WI) for an late lunch / early dinner (About 3:00 PM). Date and details to follow.

Hello Corvette MW Forum Members -

I hope that you had a nice weekend. The weather is looking good for our second event, the June 15, 2007 Meet & Greet Cruise to Gurnee, IL Car Show.

Currently, we have 100 cars on the cruise, meeting at three different spots (Listed directly below). Please review the information I have and make sure that I have the correct meeting spot listed for you. If you have not responded or do not see your name on the list, please let me know if you are coming and what location you will be meeting us at by sending me an email at jmg853@gmail.com.

College Avenue Park & Ride Lot - Southwest
As you know, I will be at the College Avenue Park & Ride (Southwest Lot) at 5:30 PM. If you have chosen to meet us at the College Avenue Park & Ride lot, please be there by 6:30 PM. I will be right at the entrance of the Park & Ride to meet everyone and hand you a sheet with the directions. We will follow each other to Kenosha (Buffalo Wild Wings) and then to Gurnee, IL Car Show.

Kenosha - Buffalo Wind Wings
We will be at the Kenosha Buffalo Wild Wings meeting point at 7:15 PM (Give or take five minutes). The address again for this meeting point is

Please be at this meeting spot at 7:00 PM and you can meet up with a number of others who will also be meeting us there. Once all of us who are meeting at College Avenue get to the Buffalo Wild Wings, I will quickly hand out to each of you at Kenosha the sheet of paper with directions to Gurnee, IL Car Show as well. Then, Kelley W. will lead the pack and we will take I94 and exit of HWY 41 and take HWY 41 to Gurnee, IL to avoid construction and tolls.

Chicago Area
If you would like to cruise together to the Gurnee, IL show, please email Fred T as he is putting together the logistics of the Chicago caravan to Gurnee. Fred can be reached at ftevolution666@aol.com.

Gurnee Car Show
We will arrive at the Gurnee, IL Car Show at approximately 7:40 PM. We will meet at the Circuit City lot right behind McDonald's and Z06 Bob will be there with his beautiful black Corvette Z06. Just park right behind the McDonald's Parking lot and in the Circuit City parking lot (Look for Bob and his Black C5 LG Motorsports Corvette Z06).

I will send a final confirmation on Thursday, June 14, 2007 to verify that the weather is going to be good and also confirm everyone's participation. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. I hope even more of you decide to participate. It is going to be a lot of fun.
