I'm from Central IL, and I know that I would like to come up to the GTG and would have other people that would be interested in it as well. You might want to talk to some of the speed shops and see if they have a mobile dyno and see if the would be intersted in doing like a dyno day for $20 for 2 pulls???? or something like that. Keep us informed.

Ok guys just a quick update.
At first I thought this would be a great idea to start the summer off. Well the more I look into it and everything it looks like this is going to be much larger than expected. So I will probably be moving the show to the middle of July. There's tons of show's in May already, plus some people will still be in school, there's a holiday weekend in the beginning of the month, and the local speed shops are having their open houses and such during that time. Plus the middle of July it's normally just sunny, warm, and there's no holiday's or other big shows in the middle of the month.
I've been talking to some local places about renting their parking lots and it's looking really good.
I'm currently looking into getting some banner's printed up to hangup throughout the area, I'll look into getting some trophies made for the car show, and I will contact all the local speed shops to see if they'll be willing to contribute products or gift certificates that we could raffle off.
I would really like this to become a large annual show. We will welcome all Y and Fbodies to the show.

If it's July, then I probably won't be able to make it. Already have another gathering and some business stuff to deal with in July. Although, we'll have to see on what the exact date is.
