Well getting closer.
Engine should be together by Friday, Ill take it home Friday night, have everything in the garage waiting. Have then engine and trans in Friday night. Saturday will be the day too hook up everything else. Early Sunday morning to touch everything up, and possibly get to a dyno!
In a perfect world that is how my plan will pan out. Hopefully I dont catch any snags. The only thing that I am worried about is the heads being done by Friday, it was my fault that I ordered them this past Friday, hopefully they can get done in time for me!!!!

Engine went from CNC to be decked, than to hone, now is on the line hone. Mains will be align honed tonight/tomorrow morning. My crank didnt work, so I am having a better 6.0L crank overnighted and will be balanced and polished in the morning. Motor will be washed tomorrow night. Assemble on Thursday.
Looks to be going a little faster than I had hoped. Ill have pics up once its just about all done!! I have been taking pics of the machining process all day!

all over the track We build engines all of the time that go straight from the track to the strip, that is the life of racing engines
Do ya think John Force puts 500 miles on an engine before taking it down the track? The half hour break in (Holding engine near 2000 RPM for 30 minutes...neighbors are going to love me) in my driveway and about 2 hours of street time, the engine will be plenty broke in

WOOHOO just got word that heads should be done tomorrow!!! As long as assembly goes good its on bitches!!!!!! I really want to be able to take it to at least Quaker Steak and Lube on Sunday if I can. I dont plan on sleeping much this weekend!!!

Since Nate is out of the picture, looks like I will get to pick on you. I hope that spray paint on the oil level sender adds power......your going to need it
My engine just got out of the hot tank, bottom end will be assembled tomorrow morning and take it home and everything else will be assembled and put in the car Friday night and Saturday. I hope to be on the dyno Sunday. Everything looks to be perfectly on schedule. I just got off the phone with TEA and my heads will be assembled tomorrow morning and ready to pick up at noon. They will still be hot off the CNC when I go to slide them over the head studs.

Hey for the $3000.00 I've paid thus far for my heads/cam package, machining, converter, manifold, ported throttle body, labor, and other things I don't think I'll cry over some factory head bolts...
