LMAO...maybe I should worry, you seem to bring bad luck to me.
The first time I take the car to the track, your there, I just got the car running, and the alternator and battery died...
Then the second time, actually at the last buckeyestangs/tech/gto rental my damn POS nitrous contoller didnt work, then we bypassed it, and just as I got in the car to make a pass it started pouring.
so, um on second thought... can I be withdrawn, or maybe you show up late or leave early so I can get some good passes in? Please???lol
Should be a good time, cant wait... we will have to line em up though after the sh*t talk fest, you know that right??

I was just reading the buckeyegto sight and there was mention of treating the track twice. I would be all for that. Last time I went the best run of the day for me was the first, and that was the only time I got decent traction. After the first run traction sucked. Of course my daily driver practical family car that I am bringing is front drive and not the fastest, but I think would really benefit from treating the track twice. Of course if all those fast GTO's and Mustangs there need to keep that advantage over my family car I guess I understand. Esp after you guys go through the burn out box and drip water off the front tires at the staging lights. Oh well just my two cents, I will still have a blast I'm sure.

i might let you put on my slicks when i get there only if you know how to. You can be the guy in charge of maintaining my tire pressure.
Maybe one day you can set me up with a nitrous tune?

Traction is a must for me. I will not be making the 3.5 hour trip if there isn't going to be proper track prep. Also they should at least respray at least up to the 60' a few times because if it was a regular raceday they would spray between each round so why would a track rental day be treated differently.
no track prep=no go for me.
It might be worth it for someone to run out on the track with a couple quarts of oil and spill it on the track and let norwalk charge us for an oil down for $50 and get us the proper prep that we all are looking for.

I would love to go, but I dont have a car to join in the fun. Some truck took it about 5 months ago. This summer I plan on having another one hopefully. Thinking about a 03/04 cobra though. Sounds like you all will have some fun. I would sponser it,but Im still thinking about it. You all know where my shop is....stop by sometime.
