Street Dominator:

1) 3.5 inlet to TB?

2) Do NMRA Renegade cars typically run motor plates?

The plan was to run for the NHRA Div 3 series & the RT 66 track series. We were going to try and run with the wise guys when we were off. We are not running either this year, so I was looking for something to do once or twice, when family responsibilities allowed. That's why I was checking your site. No biggie, hopefully we will be full time again soon.

Renegade guys do not run a motor plate.

The TB rule is more or less setup for Mustangs. I am revamping the rules a little for LS1 guys so we are going to see what happens with that. I think we are going to allow a Fast Intake and thats it plus a 90mm tb. Still no sheetmetal intakes or one of's.

I am sorry we do not have a class for you. I was contacted by one of the wise guys about the series. I did tell them if they want to set something up race by race we can work something out. Have like an anything goes kind of deal. Talk to those guys and see whats up.

We can just see who breaks out the worst I ran one race with these guys last year and had a great time, good bunch of guys and was a pretty well run event all things considered. Hey Larry, I am fine how've you been? Looks like you Mustang guys will have some LS1's to worry about this year

What about the carb style intakes? Edelbrock Victor Jr and the GMPP with a 4150 TB or with an elbow?

Assuming that I can finish my car in time & get dialed in I will try to make it to the opener.
Also +1 for the GMPP carb intake & elbow setup being legal. Like eveyone else says the TB size must go up for the LSx powered cars, maybe a 100mm limit
Sounds like a good time anyways.

there is no signing up,just come out and race, let them know at the gate what class you are running, they will give the next available car# for that class, that will be your# for the whole year, and thats how points will be counted.

i'm hoping there will be different makes of cars out there, i get tired of seeing mustangs and i have one.

i think i'll be running the 10.5 class myself this year....

I plan on doing the whole series, but the June 10th date is kinda up in the air. I will be driving the car back from Arkansas on the 9th, and then will have to drive out to IN to race on the 10th.

From reading and posting on the message board over there it seems like a good group. It should be a lot of fun.

that sounds good matt, the way the points go , it is your best 7 races, but we are hoping to have good car counts at all of the races ...

also some info about the Cordova race, the track will be having a midnite mayhem event the friday nite before , a few of us will be going up there for that and camping out ,then race the IMSM deal on saturday night ...

That would be cool. I might have to do that for Cordova as it is quite a haul for me from New Lenox (Right by Route 66)

I see your at GLD a few times. I will try and run the 10.5 class. Does the $60 dollars include the track fee's too? Also, I already have NHRA #'s on my car for Summit Series and True Street, Can I just use those #'s. ?

the entry fee does include the track fee...
you will get a IMSM Series # for the class you are racing in. For the 10.5 class it will be SAXX , that will be the # you will use when attending any IMSM race for 2007,unless you change classes.
