You guys think it was bad? last night i went to a high school dance, how do you think all the girls felt wearing dresses!? at least i was warm, under armor and carhart jacket FTW!

after the dance i let my Yukon xl warm up for about 5 min, and after 45 min of driving the coolant temp was only 145 degrees...

If it wasn't so damn cold outside right now, I'd be out there pulling the cats off every car I own. And have them re-tuned to run at a full time 8:1 A/F, just for good measure.

At least it was above 0 degrees last winter for the first cam swap.

I'll have to check the ps fluid I guess, it was full last oil change but we'll see. I guess I can't complain, I mean it is -7 outside.
So when's our first track event this year? Ya know all this recent spring like weather just screams race track!

I have a guage that hooks up to my PCM. It reads coolant temp, trans temp, intake air temp, MAF frequency, knock, RPMs, o2s, ignition advance, volts, throttle position, and long term & short term banks. It even has a built in 1/8 & 1/4 mile meter with trap speed. It's good ****!

According to weather.com it's -2* (feels like -21*). Remember that's at 12:45 in the afternoon. The "hottest" part of the day.

It's 0*F in Chicago right now. I wonder if my daily driver is gonna start for work tomorrow? The battery is 5 years old now. Cranked pretty strong last night but with that -10F low tonight it's gonna be a real test.

You may need to harness the power of lightning to generate the 1.21 Gigowatts necessary to make DD starting possible, either that or call Pete!!

Speaking of the track, we are going this Thursday for the first Slick night of the year. Looking forward to a good sticky track.

I might have to use a tractor battery to jump the thing. Pete's time machine is in FL for the superbowl right now.

I'll meet you guys at GLD @5:30pm this thursday then. Don't be late.

That was an extra $50 that I didn't want to spend at the time. I am kicking myself now

Ever notice when it's this cold outside that everything sounds louder than usual? I live pretty close to I94, and you can always hear some minor backround noise from the highway when standing in my front yard (kinda sounds like the ocean off in the distance), but when it's this cold, the highway sounds about twice as loud from my house.

Forecast for tomorrow as shown on NBC5 @ 10pm:

High: 0*F.

Where the hell is all this global warming **** now?
Most definatley sucks, had trouble getting my DD started...worse part was having to go out and free my 5 dogs from the the peecicle's that had them stuck to the ground.... I hope the hair grows back
