Default Possible?

Alright there is this guy i know. who talks alot of **** wit not alot of proof to back it up. Hes got this story cuz he knows i've done some work to my car and it ran a 13 flat when i first got the car. Now hes **** talking saying hes got a mustang pushing 715 hp at 15 pounds of boost. now he didn't even say he was boosted until i said the only way he could beat me was unless his car was supercharged. Now i'll be posting a picture of what he supposedly has. Also below is what he has told another aquaintence. So i'm just ranting but i'm pissed cuz he thinks hes top of the world with his little pony.

My car is dynoed at 715hp and i'm only pushing 15psi i'm thinking about getting a biger pully for it to put it up to 25psi and making it have close to 800+hp making it do the 1/4 mile in i'm hopeing mid to low 9's with street tiers and low 8s with sliks on it i'll never put sliks on it though no unless i'm at the track

A fox body will never run 9's on street tires or low 8's on slicks with 800hp.

jumping from 15 to 25# better get him more than 85hp or else there are some serious issues with the car.

i'll race him on a radial 30-175 on the highway. he can run all the boost he wants.

tell him to race you on street tires and go from a dig or 30mph. That mustang, if it has 715hp=turbo/supercharger, is never ever going to hook on the street. He will just spin his tires. FTG!!!!

I will call bs, go and take him out!

Thats exactly what I thought about the street tires and the 10 Lb. jump in boost. There is that quote that goes some thing like "Fox bodys are like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get" but in this case I would just raise the bs flag until I could see under the hood.

Did he say a bigger pulley for more psi? Isn't it supposed to be a smaller s/c pulley to make more power? Either way it does sound like a load of bull.

Sounds like he has a big mouth. That's fine, hope he has a big wallet too. Tell him we have several cars down here in Chitown that would love to race him for a few thousand or more if he wants. Let me know.

This is a very good point. I think it's sad that someone would claim to have a highly modded, supercharged car, but they have no idea that a "bigger" pulley would actually make less boost.

on this one.

Never in my life have I seen any car run low 9s on a regular Z-rated street tire.

If I was you I would work him over in your bolt on car
If he would like to keep his mouth going, there are plenty of LSx people in the WI area that would make him look stupid street or track.

it would if he is talking about a bigger lower pulley. but i would call bs anyway because the car doesnt have a cage or anything else.
