Chi-Town crew-Anyone know of perf shop that can slight work over 317 heads? Looking to pick up some stock 317 heads to knock down my compression on my blown stock LS6 motor so i can turn up the wick a bit and add to engine life by getting her down to 9:7 to 1 compression vs 10:5 to 1.
This is on a low budget and looking for recommendations on machine shop, hi perf. shop, etc.,etc., who could hand port these and massage them a bit without going crazy and spending big $ b/c then I would just buy new Patriot LQ9 heads and just looking to spend a couple of hundred bucks to get the heads to flow a little better than stock, etc.
