There are quite a few cars around here that are pretty much race cars and track only but you still see them on the street. Why? because they are not race cars.

You can drive pretty much anything on the street, just limited to what the driver AND cops are willing to put up with.

A street car to me is any car that is LEGAL to be driven on the street. ie valid plates, collision insurance, emmissions legal. John force could make a rip down Lake Shore Drive and claim that his car is a street car too.

On the other side of the coin, if i put an ET Drag on my car, people are quick to cry race car. Retarded

Emissions legal? In that case my old Amigo was a race car, and so was my Golf GTI with just exhaust mods-no cats- - Hell, that means there are more race-car builders out there than we think!

Hey, if you can COMFORTABLY drive it down the street and/or freeway at any given time...Its a streetcar/streetable-racecar.

you forgot to add AND DO IT LEGALLY - as matt mentioned, plates, insurance, and passes emissions testing, or is exempt.

it's all required to have a street legal car. other than that, i agree with you. but "comfortable" is a matter of opinion - some people think that driving on the highway at 3,500 rpm with open headers is comfortable... or comfortable enough.

It was a joke and I was very aware that he just stated his opinion, and in WI (as well as most midwestern states) insurance isnt the law so that shouldnt be a factor over wether or not it can be a streetcar...And there are loopholes for dealing with emissions in WI and IL as well as MI, MN, and OH so that comes down to preference over wether or not you want to do it by "the book"...I agree with plates being legal 100% but the other things IMO, shouldnt be a governing factor as to the credibility of a cars "street-worthiness". Sorry about cluttering your thread Juice & Crew, back to the subject...

Moparnos shoot be a pm with 10pt pricing and options please!
