FS: Moser 12-bolt in NW Chicago burbs
Copied from my ad on MFBA..
I haven't installed it yet, its CrawlinWS6's old one. 7-8k miles on it.
12-bolt, chrome diff cover
Eaton posi
31-spline axles with 3.25" ARP wheel studs
Spicer 1350 yoke
3.73 gears
9" axle bearing/c-clip eliminator style
I bought it for $1800 or $1900...don't remember anymore, and I have $100 in heavy duty axle bearings for it. You will need to remove your backing plates (easy!) and then get these bearings pressed on.
It was ordered for LS1 brakes, but LT1 brakes will also work on it with an 1/8" spacer, from what Moser told me when I called and asked.
Looking to get $1700 VERY FIRM. That includes the bearings and u-joint, you're looking at an additional $50 labor to get the bearings installed. I'm looking to upgrade to a new 9" this year instead if this sells. If not, I'll just install it. Its sitting in the back of my truck right now, so it'd be real easy to deliver to someone
If the rear sells, I'll also have an aluminum driveshaft out of my '98 Z28 for sale too.

yes it will work in a thirdgen, the rear is 2" wider on each side so you will have to run fourth gen wheels. I have a 4th gen rear in my third gen and run prostars 15x8 with 5 in b.s. but i could run 15 x 10 with 7 in b.s.

Okay yes, sorry, Jay keeps correcting me and I keep forgetting to correct it They are 31-spline, and I was also wrong about the yoke, after measuring, it definitely is a Spicer 1350 yoke and not a 1310 as I originally advertised.
Like said above it will bolt into a third gen, but if you don't buy 4th gen wheels, your tires will stick out about 1 5/8" further on each side than they do now. I had multiple 4th gen rears in my 3rd gen. You will however need to go with LT1 or LS1 style rear brakes.
