so i had an interesting car come into my shop today. it was a 99 c5 white vert with white top and black interior. its an a4 car. anyway the lady who owns currently just bought it and its was in for some minor work nothing major. Anyway once i popped the hood i noticed right away that the car had an ls6 intake on it. this made me look a little bit further to check the head casting numbers. there weren't any casting numbers on it period. the car idled pretty well too. Well anyway i have a gto currently and i had a 00 trans am a while back so i'm pretty familar with what a stock and modded ls1 feels like. well upon driving this car it defeneately had a cam of some sort in it and was shifting at 6600-6800rpm. The car overall was put together well and ran strong.

Anyway i pieced together it was bought from a younger guy who's wife was pregenant and didn't have room for a vette anymore.

i was just wondering if this car was anyone's on here at one time?

How did you notice immediately it was an LS6 intake? They don't look any different....

yeah, none of the '97+ vettes had the egr hole like a f-body did. almost screwed myself out of $100 when i thought the guy was selling an LS6 and didn't know it.
