Wow, that looks as bad as when i wrecked my Firebird. That was my first car, i rolled it 3½ times . The firemen said i was lucky, and most people dont walk away from that type of wreck. Obviously he was right Very sad. Prayers are with the family.

One thing I've noticed, seems that when it comes to serious wrecks, people tend to walk away from them often if it was in a 4th gen F-body. These cars seem very safe. I'm always seeing people post stories or pics of wickedly crashed F-cars, with cops/firemen saying they were lucky to walk away, and they are still well enough to post a couple hours later.

That's because 4th Gens have five-star crash ratings. I hit some trees at 70+mph after being clipped on the highway by a guy cutting me off. I survived, the car didn't.

We had a wreck with a LT1 car, hit some standing water and went sideways into a pole. The drivers face was caved in from the pole and the passegers face hit the gear shift, they were both dead. The guy in the back hurt his ankle and was fine otherwise. That car was pretty fucked up.

We had a wreck w/ an LT1 converable and the kid hit some water I think at about 70 and the car went sideways and flipped. I saw the car and it was the most fucked up car I'd probably ever seen in person. The kid survived but I think they said he either broke his neck or his back. Lucky to be alive though.
