i had no problem cutting 1.6x 60' with my 3,600lb fbody on a drag radial.
those complaining of traction don't know how to properly set up the suspension. i let gm do mine, then i added LCAs and SFCs - dropped the swaybar for repeat 1.6x 60' many many times. and a bunch of 1.71 (was my cursed 60') with the other tire.

I was launching at 3500rpm on all seasons!
Those Vette 3.42 gears are weird, im used to the 4.10's in the RX7 and cutting low 1.7's at 2500rpm drop
