25 Fastest LSx's in Minnesota
#921
Hello Everyone in MN
I am looking at purchasing a F Body, looking at a few LT1's for around 4-6 Grand and some ls1's for 7-10, anyone have experience with LT1s or should i just spend 3G more and get a LS1 . I am concerned with the LT1's maintenance cost(parasitic) and tuning issues. Are the ls1's more durable and would they last longer even with 100k on the dash

Ls1 hands down. You can find rougher ls1 f bodies for the cost of lt1 if you just want to get one in your garage. But if you want one in good shape, look all over. I brought mine home from orlando, even with a plane ticket, gas, and hotel, it was way cheaper than any around here.

LOL, nah I got race-car problems again. Going to the dyno on Saturday to check some stuff out and see what its doing and diagnose from there.
I really thought about buying new rockers, but man 1500 for T&D's is just stupid. Only cheaper option is Thunder Racing's TFS shim kit with stock rockers and custom pushrods.
