your 60' is great for cold weather.

What year is your car. I figured your trap mph would be faster

Maybe it's just me, but that seems a little off for a heads cam car. What heads and cam? Is it tuned?

My full bolt-on, full weight (minus spare and jack) 2000 Z28 with stock heads and cam was running 12.04 consistently last fall. It also has a SY3500 converter and 3.73's.

60' 1.709
1/8 7.700
mph 89.79

1/4 12.041
mph 113.77

Wow. Thought I was the only one that ever had that TC! I liked it, great for street traction and decent top end efficiency. I was running 12.6 at almost 107mph with just that converter, a whisper lid, and a Flowmaster muffler.

Is your car dyno tuned?

The LS1 intake is certainly hurting your H/C package, but I'd still expect a little better MPH with that sort of outside temp (45*F).

That's why I decided on it initially...I love it so far.

The Vig 3600 stall is a pretty loose converter which could be hurting your MPH. You can try locking it up in third to see if that helps the MPH.

A shift kit might not help. You may already have the clutches slipping. Have you checked your transmission fluid to see if it looks or smells burnt?

If you have to get off it to shift most likely the clutch packs are going. Time for a rebuild. more gear would help too.

Nice times man. You need an LS6 bad. Just get a T56 and your worries will be over.
