Hey guys im just wondering if anyone is making the trip down I90 from the rockford belvidere area? I'll be leaving around 7am my time and hopfully meet up with a buddie with an ss and a gto. The ss guy wont know if he has work or not till about 7am so hes not for sure and my buddie with a stock 04gto is being a bitch about bringing his gto their but im going to try to talk him into it. He got his door banged in a parking lot the other day and its a little paint scratch and a good size ding so he doesnt want to bring it out. My car has a few lil dings but hey I didnt want a mint car since i want to do a motor project this winter. Anyways if anyone gets on here tonight from the rockford area or belvidere maybe ill see you along the way it will be awesome tomorrow
and dont forget about the cops guys its already been mentioned but let the cars pass threw and the semi trucks when they come and we shouldent have any issues. i'm sure they will show up sooner or later anyways hopfully later wayyyyyy later

Well me and about 5 guys from schaumburg are deciding to meet up at the crystal lake hooters as well. I will be there with my 87 trans am. There will be a black T/A, green T/A, white SS camaro, and a black camaro as well. See you guys tomorrow morning. This is my ride so you will reconize me. Tim

I was up on business from Florida to Illinois last year and heard about this event. I cruised over in my four door Cobalt rental. The burnouts were INSANE. Then...while I am video taping on the cell phone some crazy wicked rubber slinging...the cops rolled in. That was more fun to watch the people scram than anything else.
Pizza and cool drinks were excellent, and I picked up a transgo kit for my car and some cool speed inc t-shirts.
Did you guys work it out with the cops this year?
