Dash Lights Pulsating???

Default Dash Lights Pulsating???

Hey guys i wasnt sure where to post this since so i figured i would post it here, It seems like when i turn my lights on at night, my the guage light pulsates like it seems the battery or alternator is going out? what is this, is it probably just my alternator or battery? Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks Alot

When my beater did that the alternator went out a few months later. So far it looks like it fixed the problem but a week or so later the dash lights started to go out but the other linterior lights are not pulsating anymore.

maybe its because your belt is loose?

well i put the new tensioner on, so the belt shouldnt be loose anymore..Im wondering if its my battery might be dirty, or the alternator.

You can pick up one of those battery/alternator testers really cheap. Little hand held thing.

If your belt is tight now and still doing it then its not the belt.

Mine does it too, even with the slightly varied idle rpm from my cam. I have new everything, so I'm not worried about it.

alternator. and that also could have caused your belt to come off :-\

Alternator is the most common cause of this problem.

alright cool, well i guess i will have to save some money up and then change out the alternator..
