I just got back from the dealer. the car is still there, no sales pending... also if it is cammed its a baby cam like the ls6 hot cam... nothing big.
if you do buy pull the air pump, its just dead weight when you not using cats!!
I asked the dealer if I could buy the 12bolt for $500 and give him my 10bolt... but NO... damnit

that is true, but then again you are paying for the 12 bolt when you buy this car.
the value of a 01 ws6 in perfect condition is around $16000 not $19000
so who ever buys this car is buying the mods to which the dealer did not pay for or buy!!!
another point too, is the dealer said many people tried to approved for financing and where turned down. Reason being is unless you have perfect credit with a high score and you do not have a lot of revolving credit you will be turned down, because banks and finance companies know the car is worth $16000 so they have a hard time justifying another $3000 on top of it!

yes I know the rear is a dana 60...
who told you it has a cam... if it was the dealer I would not believe their word. I talked with them yesterday they are clueless about cars. I work 2 minutes from woodfield chevy
However as I stated above, yes the car sounded cammed but its a baby cam, nothing big.... The true dual setup would really show off the lope of a bigger cam.
also if anyone buys this car, they will have to fix the passenger side collector on the headers. The headers are SLPs and have a nice dent on the one side!
their asking price, I feel is too high.....

4.10 i heard i guess chitown has a thread someone knows the guy and has the cam specs its comp cam something small. I really am suprised this is still there i almost picked up but salesman told me a sale was pending to some kid so i left and went back to school now im home again but

my buddy had deposit on it but he couldnt get done....... who ever saw it and said power steering was leaking what was problem bad pump?? iam thinking about going to go check this thing out.....

I doubt the pump is bad, its common for these cars to have a slow power steering leak....
tell the dealer you will buy it, if they fix... for what the dealer is making off the car its only fair
