Thats the shamefull part It hooks like a champ on the street, but it slides all over the place at the track. I need some more practice before I can really say it has been ran at its best.
So far the best I have managed was a 11.3 @ 128 on slicks, and an 11.4 @129 with the DR's. With the slicks it hooks good off the line, but then slides all over the place down the track and is really hard to keep control of. I know it is because I am running my huge 18 inch wheels and street tires up front, but since I have those big Baer brakes up front, its hard to find any skinnies that will fit. If I had skinnies for the front, I am sure that would make a huge difference. Still, I think with a little more practice I could get a better time, especially with that MPH.
Its capable of 10's. We'll see if next year I can get it.

Here's a video of the car at the track during a couple of my runs. You can see that it seems to want to slide to the left and right a bit. It feels much worse than the video shows.

If all I had was a $6,000 beat up car, I might consider this. However the sheer money invested in my Z makes me lean on the side of safety and keeping the car on the track.
As I said before though, hooking on the street has never been an issue. I am still wanting a good run from Mike and Kurt (however both of their cars should be able to take mine down)
This is very good to know I'll probably go this route.
Joe, I already have a tracking number on a set of 36lb SVO injectors for my Formula. Thanks again for all your help.
Yep, and that is why the car goes down the track as it does.

Ben, what shocks are you using in the front? A 90/10 shock will keep the front end up much longer, which will help to prevent the rear from unloading. I have the Hal/QA1 2 way adjustable shocks on the front of my camaro, they made a big difference over the 1 way QA1's that I had on there in the past. Get rid of the front sway bar, if you still have it on there. I'd remove it, even if it is only for the time being. You'll get a lot more lift out of the front end with it off. If you car launches with the left front side higher than the right front, the BMR anti roll bar will make a huge difference. We preload the right side of the anti roll bar, which keeps the front end coming up even, and the car heads straight ahead. Bob
