Update: I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Adam this afternoon. I still need to call back tomorrow and confirm things with the GM, but it looks like the date is open. I will post up tomorrow when I have spoken with the GM.

I just wish we had a group with all our e-mails so we could all be on a mailing list and keep informed on cruises and such. Maybe get some live bands and have a party with a raffle to pay for kegs/bands, etc. Everybody throws in like five bucks to be in the club, that would get us started.
I'm a newspaper reporter and know some good tricks to get good covereage for free. Might help a South-Central F-Body Club out.

Update: I spoke with Mike just now. He said the 24th is clear. He penciled us in for the date. He still wants to meet over lunch or dinner to discuss "details". I don't see a reason to, since there really aren't many details, but I never turn down a free meal...especially at Hooters.
I won't be able to meet with him until next week since I will be leaving town this weekend. I plan on meeting with him early next week to solidify things. I think it's safe to say it's a "go" though.
