Damn everyone is up late. What time you guys end up leaving? 4am?
Yea my little motorboat has a pretty quiet put-put to it. I should close the cut out and it would make less noise than stock...thats what I get for putting something more obstructive than a cat in the exhaust...silly me.

This thread is getting out of hand, I am going to have to use the powers of CTU and LOCK it. I am also going to have to ban the members involved after relocating them to holding room 2.

It'll NEVER happen...
But you are more than welcome to prove me wrong! In fact I insist and demand that you prove me wrong.
Do it!
That thing is gorgeous, need more pics.
BTW, you buy that and it will start a shitstorm of low mileage 80's car buying. I promise that.

It's in PA, the guy wants $41,000. That car would be an investment, I'm sure the prices of sub-1,000 mile GNs will only be going WAY up over the next decade.

I would view it more as an investment than a toy. Which means I'd still need to buy another one to drive!

Too much IMO. 900 miles or not, there was a GNX on ebay about 3-4 years ago with 126 miles and all the obvious condition and documentation that you'd expect for a Buy it now in the low $40s.
Don't get me wrong, the car is gorgeous, but I don't think that that's where the market value for that car is yet. Of course that 9 mile GNX on ebay for $109,XXX is a bit high too but there are cars out there priced like that and people who will buy them.
IMO this guy is just asking too much. Is it on Autotrader? Original owner?
An example of two if you will; I am always searching for nice 87-92 Firebirds as you know. Currently there is a '88 TA 4800 miles, the car was actually bought to be shown, and is in show condition. The kind of show condition that we would expect. It closes in 2 hours and is around $14K reserve not met. I estimate reserve at $17K tops.
1989 Formula 350 just closed a few months back, 1,XXX miles, all the options to include the 350, price $12,100.
I know this is not a direct comparison but still, same era and similar kind of target audience.
My .02
Also the remainder of the $5.01
?????

$41k is high, but not too far out of line, IMO. I think the car would be a good buy for $30-35k. Sub-1,000 mile cars are rare, even in the collector circuit. The GN, TR, GNX, and TTA will likely be the most collectible domestic cars of the 1980s, going into the future. Show quality, fully documented, 100-point all-original examples of these cars will bring sick money in 15 more years. If it stays under 1,000 miles, it will be the best of the best.
