Hey guys, I'm looking to perhaps make my shop a hang out spot.. I'm suppling shop tools and lifts. All I'm looking for in return is a groupy( and some help with my SS!) It's in Elgin and I would like to see some excitement about this!

It is rare for someone to open their doors like this, and under other circumstances I would love to head up there, but my buddy owns a shop 5 minutes from my house with 5 lifts and a welder so I'm set around here I'm sure some guys would really appreciate that offer though.

Eight bays .... I'm looking for a gathering with shop supervision thats all... NO HIGH SCHOOL mechanics.. Thats the last thing I want to hear someone whine about is lifting their car by the front fender support and popping it out... hahaha.... I've done it......

hmmm... I have small stuff to work on. Poly trans mount, wanted to do poly motor mounts at some time too but I hear they are a pain soo bahh.. I'll probably wait on that until I get Long tubes. also going to redo my brakes and put on some SS brake lines. I dunno.. really its nothing that I'd need a lift for or anything serious.

live 45 min away tho so its not to easy to hangout, if it was on the south side i would be all over it tho

How are you going to go about this with insurance liability? Have everyone that works on their car using your lift sign a waiver saying if the car falls and kills them, you're not responsible?

Already said that once we have a confirmed date and time, I am there. If not to get lift time, to hang out with like minded people.

Special note, worried about the wife bitchin about time away from the family? Why not make it a barbecue and have the families come too.. Make them a part of it. Good promotion for your shop too.... Just a thought.

With only a few days to hang out with my wifey, I have to make due.... Besides, nothing like a Beer brat with greasy paws... LMAO. But that way, keep the wives busy chatting and stuff, and they dont bitch at us for wrenching.....
