Default Just had to Vent

Well i recently had a walboro 255lph pump installed on my car when my oem one went out. So ive had the walboro installed in my car for about 3 months now, and i took the car up to my parents in Northern Wisconsin. So the other day while im here the car just sorta sputters and dies, so i push it off the highway and start it up and i just watch my fuel pressure g from 60-65 all the way down to 0 in about 4 seconds..So i had to have my car towed to a local shop and they are ordering me a new OEM pump which is $500. Then i got to pay for it to have it installed adn everything, and im missing 2 days of work on top of it..This sucks..And to top it off walboro doesnt warrantee there products which is kinda crappy i think. But anyways, sorry guys, i just had to vent..

That sucks man. It always hurts when we can't even make it to work to help pay for the things we need repaired.

Hopefully things will get better, man. Godspeed.

did you let the gas gauge drop to more than a 1/4 of a tank? look in the fuel section. they burn out easily if you do that.

Maybe the hose came off, and the pump is still good.

I was thinking same thing as John. if you watched your PSI go from 60-0 in 4 seconds the pump aint' dead. would it do that every time you cycled the ignition? dead means dead, it won't run at all when you turn the ignition on.If so, then my gut feeling is you got a split or loose line off that pump that's all. might be paying 500 bucks for no reason..

And they probably know that you NEED the car to get home.... So... I would say get another opinion or make sure you get that pump back...

Could be a wiring thing as well since I just read your last post. But make sure you take your parts with you... I will bench test it if you want.

Stopped holding pressure because the hose became unclamped maybe.
