I just installed the Hookers on Friday and it went pretty well...if you have access to a lift and tools I would be up for helping you, I am in Bloomington...I don't know how far that is from Brimfield. Here's the catch...I would only be available on sundays or tuesdays.

My father and I own the store here in town and i live in the house across the street with a couple of my friends. I can't say i remember the car on the road but hopefully i'll see it around. Most of the ls1 people it seems like around here are in trans ams it seems like. At the hooters GTG it was a trans am reunion.

I know where edwards is too. Cat has a demo area there. If you can wait for me to finish my turbo install I can give you a hand some time.

Brimfield is exit 75 if your traveling north on 74 towards Galesburg. About 25-30 min from Peoria. Peoria is central from east to west, but on the high side from north to south.

I might be up to it in a couple of weeks if they aren't on by then. I just did wldesyWS6's last Sunday. I'm working 60 hour weeks and Sunday's my only day off so I'm taking a couple for myself.

It would be on a Sunday afternoon and you'd have to drive up here though. I'll keep checkin this thread.

What exactly is it if it's not considered "central IL"?

It would be best to get them both installed at the same time, since having the y-pipe off makes it a ton easier. I'm sure it's not going to be cheap having both installed either. Just make sure whoever you take it to has bled the clutch system on one of these cars if you are upgrading your master cylinder.

If you doing the install, if you think you'll want the motor mounts done later, I sudjest you do them at this time. It will be a big PIA later on.
