Anybody without power? Our power went out 4pm, and is still out. Comed is saying worst case Sunday or Monday. We have a gas grille and hot water, so I'm just getting some ice so we can keep some stuff from spoiling.

ours has been out for almost 48 hours now. houses 50 feet away on the other side of the street never lost theres.
we just bought this house a week ago and I'm so pissed right now I can't describe it. we're trying to unpack and we can't even sleep in our own new house. **** YOU COM ED.

Just got our power on this morning at 5 am , we also had 6" of water in the basement. But the other side of the street is still out of power as of right now and comed is unable to evaluate our situation and is not able to determine an estimated time.

my home had one power surge and i lost my AIM convo...but a mile down the road where i work (walgreens...corner of north and wolf if anyone wants to bring me food and save me from starvin) the power was out at 2:30 pm on the 23rd...for the first time ever a 24 hour walgreen closed without health issues guiding it (fire...gas leak...stuff like that). the next day they had hooked up two generators to power the pharmacy...lucky me i had to work that day. so we worked in the dark with one computer...we couldn't do new prescriptions and it was hot as *****.
the next day they had the same getup for a lil while then they brought in a diesal generator...store had full power minus the ac.
same thing today....hot as *****
yet...there is still no power in northlake lol. not com ed's fault they are doing the best they can!

Power went out Thursday, and didnt come back on till about 8pm yesterday.. Generator took a **** thursday night, but fixed that yesterday morning.. 3 inches of water in the basement.... Hijacking power from the neighbors behind us... All in all it went ok.. At least I got to watch the bears game.
