Man I know this was a pretty lame post. I think im going to just insure it for another month after my time runs out witch will be into november. I love those nice cool days for the cruise no bugs, no a/c,and more people go out to the carshows. Il see what happens last year I drove it until halloween day and thats whyen I stored it away. Believe me I dont want to but I know its almost time its coming up fast. I want to definelty go on the cruise depending on the weather I cant remember witch club does it. Ill have to look into it but Ive been wanting to do it and it was pretty much rained out last year. So hopfully October is a good month here. Its damn hard though when the nice weather comes around to not drive the car I only I get the itch real bad after a month or two and its 70degrees and sunny and I have no insursance on it.
well see what happens lets all pray for a awesome end to an awesome year

Late October is usually the time mine goes into hibernation. By that time the weather is for the most part not enjoyable and it feels kind of nice to get it all clenaed up and covered and officially end the season.

BUT, within a few weeks the off season depression kicks in and I can't wait for spring again.

Man this is depressing.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way. Maybe he should get a pass though because he is thinking about his winter mods...

i think mine will be away by the end of Sep. Im leaving it at my parents house in Eagle River, Wisconsin so i wont be able to look at the car which is good in a way, but who knows if i will even have the car out next season..Might be saving all my money to get a motor together and a turbo kit together for the car..But we will see how things go..

Yes thank you I'm definetly ready for the winter mods. I'm just thinking about spring already since the car will be a little bit quicker. I remember last year pulling the car out of storage for the first time it was like I got a new car and the feeling was awesome. It sucks since my car will be stored here in a garage and I'l get the itch to drive it any nice day we get.I also put rent a nice heated storage unit to keep it in since our garage gets alot of crap in it between my snowmobile and the 4wheeler,but then the prob is modding in a storage unit. I dont want to take a chance of someone breaking in it and so on.
oh well maybe the garage it is then

Off topic, but a few years ago when I was in college, I would always go up for a week during the summer on a fishing trip to Eagle River with some friends. I think it was lake carol or something like that. Anyways haven't heard that towns name in a few years, seemed like a nice little town.

When the snow hits and salt is thrown, then my car gets put up.

Since Feb, when I got mine, I put on just under 3000 miles.... I will drive it until the snow hits, then its off to the garage. It will remain fully insured, and once the mods are done, it will see a few blasts around the neighborhood to ensure all is good. I actually cant wait to pull her into the garage. Going to be a completely different animal next season. Oh, and the winter beater is complete and ready to be drivin. 97 TJ with 6" of lift, 33s, and a hardtop. I look forward to snow.....

I'm somewhat impressed by the low mileage some of you put on your cars. I bought mine in May with 16k, and I am struggling to not drive the **** out of it. I'm about to roll 20.

But yeah, mine is insured all year, so it'll get stored when ever the salt comes out.

This is my lowest mileage year so far. Only about 550 miles since it came out of storage in April.
