So I am down at U of I right now after the drive from Chicago. On the way down I saw 63 Corvettes total...61 of them on I-57 going North, and 9 of them being Z06's. I was like holy **** at the time. I am guessing they were all going to the Lansing cruise night.

1 of the C6 Z06's, which I think was yellow, was towing a small trailer with some big *** slicks on it (I think, saw it quick while I was goin South). Didn't think I would ever see that towing.

and yes...I actually counted.

I would take a guess there going to the huge corvette show in effingham Il which I think is this weekend. Someone said there is 14,000 cars which seems extremely high but it is the biggest vette show in the world I believe. I wanted to go but its to far of a ride to a day or 2. It started friday I believe and ends sunday. Im not sure if its 14,000 vettes or if that includes other cars to

nm just saw there heading north well then there coming from that big show. I wouldent think they would leave so early but I guess I would to if I was in a car show with that many cars

Was at Corvette funfest in Effingham this weekend, was a lot of cars there but not 14,000. Had a good time and it was all free.

yeah I wanted to go I heard from someone there would be 14,000 and I knew it had to be wrong. I always miss that show something always comes up last minute like me working this whole weekend but hey thats life i guess. Maybe that person meant 14,000 people?? Either way sounds like a good time
