What has been removed to get that weight? I am at 3600+! I see hood, I am sure back seats and I think I read front racing seats. What else?

Drop your car off with a hand full of cash and three large empty boxes and I will do the same to your cars as Matt and I did to his.

Bill and I are quite good at taking all of the unnecessary parts out. We took out a lot, but there is still a lot to go. The best part is when you look at/in my car, it doesn't look gutted. Here is a link to my FQuick page with all of my mods and weight reduction: http://www.fquick.com/garages/Chevro...Z28/1999/2213/

I am still debating the bumper supports. All the creature comforts must stay too. Guess I will just have to stick with light weight suspension, hood and removing the rear seats.

Well I am out of mod money, so I may gut it for a season just to see what she can do and to satisfy my mod bug.

Yeah I don't drive the car on the street any more. I get in too much trouble, so the lack of radio, ac, cloth seats, etc are not missed.

Hmmm, I might have to take my car down so we can cut the door bars out. And I am adding a 10 point chrome moly cage, not just a 6 point roll bar. For the extra 20lbs or so, I won't have to add on to it later because I plan on going faster than 9.99.

Yeah, I am over 3600, but I dont want to give up any comfort either. Its not like I drive the car often, but AC is nice. I think I will just stall it up some more and maybe a bigger cam for next year. 3600 stall and the baby cam isnt doing it anymore.

But dropping 500 lbs sounds good.
