Thanks for the link man! But the GF wants either BLACK Wheels or Chrome Wheels on the fireturd lol. I Gotta give her what she wants since I just spent almost $10K on the Camaro over winter lol! Hell I only spent $600.00 on the Formula this winter and thats just because it wouldn't start so I had to put an opti on it! I'm probably just going to give her the Black wheels on my car now back!
Oh Well I have to get a transmission built for it and another set of wheels for it now. I'm thinking maybe I'll get a Drag Wheel setup! With some MT's out Back! But We'll see what happens. Just depends what I come accross!
I do know, I'd like to have a set of 15" Pro Stars on it for the track.

I also just picked up a ZEX Wet Kit and I'm probably just going to hold off on installing it until next summer. By Then I'll have the S60 rearend and Transmission and Cage done!

Your car will look sick with some prostars on it, I kinda thought about getting a drag setup cuz I love the look. I was thinking a 15x4 up front and a 15x10 out back but I drive my car too much to go that route. Hope you get that tranny fixed and the car back on the road soon. Also if you want someone to hold on to that Wet kit for you until next summer Ill take one for the team, we dont want it sitting around not getting used

No ****, I have a mile long list of stuff to buy and do but the cashflow just isnt there. I cant wait till I graduate and can turn this car into what I want it to be!

And believe me, I busted my *** this winter to get that kind of cash to put into the camaro. I had bought about 7 cars that needed work and fixed them up and then sold them and put the Profit towards the camaro. It worked out for me, but it took forever it seemed like. I still have 2 cars left to sell. Both of which I need to do a little bit of work on. LOL! So if I can sell these and pay off my Student Loan and Credit Card Bill, I'll be Good to go! $3,000.00 in debt isn't that bad considering $2,000.00 of it is my Student loans....

BTW If anyone feels like pulling the Transmission out for me, LOL I won't say No! Any Takers? J/K
I'm going to pull it out of the car sometime this week and drop it off to be built! Might as well get a TCI SFI Flexplate too! I forgot about that when I put the car together and didn't order 1. Oh Well I'll get 1 this time!

Building cars takes alot of money man. I think your coming along quite nicely.
I still remember how many cars I have gone through and how much work I have done and wheeling and dealing to get where I'm at today. Just stick in there and work Hard everyday and you'll have something nice. I'm 23 and I have struggled to get what I have now! But at least I can say I did it by Myself you know. I bought everything I own by working hard. None of which was Ever Given to me. And I'll tel you another thing, Read up and pay attention to even the smallest details and that will save you thousands over time. As if Parts don't cost out the ***. Labor sometimes costs even more!

I believe it, coming up with an extra 10k isnt easy! I dont even want to think about student loans either... Have you thought about getting a meet together at all, Ive yet to see a lot of the cars Im hearing about on here including yours! Also do you know anybody that has done the whistler mod? I want to find someone to pay who has done it before and to polish the lens's up some. I just dont want to screw it up, I only have one shot at it!

 

Give me a call and I'll hook you up with a guy that would be more than happy to do it for you. Or you could come over and we could take the headlights out to him and wait while he does them. He's a good guy. I'll ask him if he's up for it and go from there.

As far as the LS1Tech meet goes, I'd like to have another 1 here soon but I'm not sure when everyone is going to be done with their cars. I know alot of people are still working on their cars and thats the reason I have not listed a time or date for another meet. If anyone wants to have a meet in say May, LMK! I'd be down for one closer to the end of May. Maybe Saturday May 22nd??? Any Suggestions or if anyone is up for this, LMK!

Ya that sounds great, let me know if he is up for it and how much he wants. I might have to wait till I start work on the 11 so I have money to pay him though lol. May is perfect, last day for finals down here is May 8 I think then I should be heading up to see Chad to get my car tuned. Then Im ready for some fun!

Haha ya thats what he said at the gas station. Hes like "I think im more excited than you about it" i was like "well hell i was just in shock of the power". Ive never really owned a powerful car before.

 

I understand you there, When I took the Z for a test drive after Chad tuned it I was like HOLY ****....
Pat (Chad's helper) drove the car before I did.... Not to mention Chad rode in it before I did. lol

There's no question he will break one.

 

From what I remember he has broken 2 with a mostly stock El Tee Juan
and once he puts a decent tire on the Camaro it will be #3.
