alright alright........im the one who is so unexperienced.....sorry i dont read everything about sizes of intake and exhaust ports over heads and every lil detail.....bc i dont care....as far as me thinkin im top notch...sorry there bud but u better beleive im gona poke around on another 12 second car when all his buddys want me to run ya...but its whatever...the only fighting match thats gona happin is between my car and urs......but dont dog on my know how!!!....u say my car was bought not built....look at urs there bud....wat did u do????trany and rearend....im very proud....bc i did that back in middle summer....i actually rebuilt my t-56 the first time then exploded a week after....but i had 150 bucks in doin it myself then took it to rpm.....i had my trany in and out 6 times....i did the rear suspension on my car....i have also pulled the irs on my buddys 03 cobra too...i had a 67 coupe mustang also that I BUILT....and the pass i made at the track where i ran my 12.5 on bald street tires was against his car also....and its on video and matt in the yellow cobra above was there also...i heard u was putting a tremec 3650 in ur car??? if so thats amazing bc my buddy scattered his in a stock gt....woo...good trany.....but its getting dropped now.....jus be ready when it gets warm and have the car togethor...this should be ur motivation for ya......im gona wax ur a$$......i dont care if it means i blow my car up.....bc all it has to do is make one pass and thats all i need....it can sit all summer for all i care......IM GONA LOVE MY BABY FED CAMARO!!

So your saying a H'eaton with a pulley swap, tune, and catback can do 11,50's on a IRS with a Diff brace or with a stick axle? Yes I believe if you are a seasoned test driver for a magazine or a NMRA racer it is possible. But joe shmo who goes to the track 12 times a year I doubt it. Larrys KB 2.6 putting down 600 plus on race gas and slicks does 11.50s and he has decent experiece at drag racing. He drove his Mach 1 with just a tune and catback on drag radials and gears to a 12.80. But it required dumping the clutch at 6000 grand. Don whats your brothers name (mofasta) that runs that stock heaton with every shifting mod and big tires with a stick axle. He went what 11.80's at the IHP shoot out. Your planning to put a pro built 5 speed in your cobra. Hope you don't like downshifting, a friend made that mistake in his cobra. It was awesome going WOT, but driving around town it sucked. Maybe you need to swap in a 4R70W like all these Ls1 ****** (

I say to the mustang guy: If you know how important it is making the car work, just as I have learned in the past (less horsepower cars with less Rot. LBS outrunning Stock Sus. BIG HP cars ) then your one step above the rest. Dont give away your secrets just to prove a point. My buddy's LT1 Camaro is a second faster than I am and I make more HP to the wheels than he does and about the same amount of Torque, but he knows how to make that Car WORK! So thats what I am after this winter, going faster with less Horsepower and Torque than the other guys.
As to Travis: That things runs like a champ from what I have seen. I don't know what your up against or what your intensions are to your car, but good luck to ya.
I choose the guy who has the best working car and since no one knows who that is... I'll guess we will just have to wait and see!!! Yeah!!! Run Them!!!

And why does everything have to be n/a to be able to talk? Yea it takes a lot of effort to gain 3 sec N/A but thats also for someone who has a ton of money to spend. Which isn't a lot of people like myself who have to resort to f/i. A fast car is a fast car. But I do agree that a fast n/a car is badass!

WOW I just read something about some guy saying he had a 600hp Cobra with Drag radials and experience behind the wheel and ONLY RAN MID 11'S? With that amount of power, that thing should be in the Mid to low 10's with your simple suspension mods, and a decent tranny. Anyways I think what the problem around here is too many street racers just going after more HP and Torque, instead of looking at whats more important: Driveline, Suspension, Rot. Weight. Etc.
A lot of the cars out there that you see make 500HP (Supposively... Never Been on a dyno) and put a Nitto on the back are the ones you see breaking **** all the time, running like **** from a dig, or the usual... LETS GO FROM A ROLL!! I mean seriously unless Your Making 600HP to the wheels and are on a 10.5 tire, DONT EVEN ASK TO RUN FROM A ROLL. Cuz if you dont know how to make 400HP to 500HP hook at the track, then how in the hell do you expect to run on the street. As soon as I put a bigger stall, gear, and tune on my car: I was amazed to see how much faster my car picked up. I went out and imparrassed two evos's that said they ran high 11's low 12's. I ran a 500HP TT G35 a Z06 Vette, etc because none of them knew HOW TO MAKE THE CAR WORK!! And what did I here afterwards, " You wanna try it again from a 30 roll" You think I said yes? Hell No, Ive seen those cars rull race and want nothing of them, because I'm trying to make the car work not make power So... since there is a lot of **** going down next year (Supposively) then I hope someone comes out with a car that works. If not, its just going to be worthless to watch!!! (To Me... Only cuz It doesnt tell you much)

It just gets to the point that if your going to talk **** and defend yourself, You better make sure you can back it up.

I dont care what my car runs in the 1/4mile until I can 60ft in the 1.50's on both stages because ON THE STREET, SPINNING AINT WINNING, Unless your James!!!
