Well the camaro is slowly going back together. I got the Tubular UMI K-Member in the car along with all of the petty ****. The fuse block / PCM and engine harness relocating is out of the question. It's a MAJOR PITA and I gave up. I was wanting to move the PCM and Fuse Block Harnesses and etc out of the engine bay and I decided that I didn't want to go grey headed by the time I was done. So I'm a quitter. lol.
Anyways, I just put it all back where it was.

As for my goals, I really just want the MWC Fab 9 inch, Weld Prostars all the way around (15x4 & 15x10) I have the rears-I just need the fronts now! , Battery Relocation Kit, Maybe a 6 point rollbar, and some 1 7/8" Longtubes on the car by summer. I really don't care about anything else right now. The car should still pick up a little bit this year. If not, I'm still happy with what it has gone so far!

 

James, Your so loved on here LOL. Yeah I hope to see a big turn out as soon as it comes spring time. I know a few guys were talking about have a DYNO DAY! I was talking to my Tuners and they would be excited to see what some of these cars can put down. So if anyone is interested in having their car Chassis Dyno, let me know or James know. My tuners company is called:

Ron and Prescila are Indy's best Tuners hands down. Ron teaches this stuff for a living, so no one has more experience then him in Indy, and most of the surrounding states.

 

I do want to dyno the car but only if we got a real good price.

 

blackhawk - Did you see Mike Norris Motorsports moved to town http://www.mikenorrismotorsports.com/ a friend of mine with a cam only Ls1 picked up 50+ rwhp and torque compared to a previous custom tune done by someone else. Thats huge.

 

Hey man this may come off bad if it does my bad BUT, ive had my car dynod by them and they were great ppl. But my buddie took his car to them to get it dynod. As they were getting into it and everything. My buddie would as him ? about what all he was doing to his car and everything. And the guy just like shrugged my buddie off like he wasnt even speaking. Kinda rude in my book i mean if i fork out that kind of cash for you to touch MY car hell ya you will answer every ? i throw out there. Anyway im going with Mike next couple of weeks. And i think pro dyno tech should have stayed at there other location the new one looks kinda run down. But the other facility was AMAZING. Just my .02.

As for a dyno day, I'm looking into Mike Norris Motorsports. I have heard alot of great stuff about him and with him being so close, I'm not going anywhere else. Not to say Pro Dyno Tech isn't a good place to go, But too far for me to drive and still spend more or the same as M.N.M.S... As for tuning, I'd like to have Chad re-tune it since thats where it was first done at, But we'll see since he isn't tuning anymore. May be Mike doing it???

same boat here, im hoping mike has a nice price on dynoing the car at the open house or something if not ill put it into suspension parts. till i find out what chads long term plans are im not doing anything to the car that requires tuning...

 

Yeah I can understand that. I didn't want to have to get a re-tune this year, But I'm not gonna stop modding my car just because I can't get it tuned by someone. I have to go faster lol. But it will all work out in the long-run... Chad is a great guy, and he just had some things come up and all the tuning hype just got in the way to his daily life. IMO I would've just opened a shop and had normal business hours and shut off my phone after he was done working. Things could've got a lot less stessful that way. But to each their own I hope he decides to tune again. Or at least do it on the side to help a few people out.

He really is a nice guy, and tunes great!

But if not, I will be going to Mike for a tune and I'm for sure going there to get some #'s out of my car and 1 of his Famous PCV Oil catch cans too.

ya that probably would have been the way to go, woulda kept everybody happy. and ya hes a great guy and very helpful when he was tuning my car. communication after was were it suffered a bit but the car runs great and im gonna give him some time before i switch and pay full price for another tune and tuner. Thats funny about the catch can, when i heard he was moving the first thing i thought was, "sweet dont have to pay shipping for that now!"
