Indy People....check-in and say hi!
my car with very little bottle pressure i put down 630/666. I would have more HP if the bottle pressure didn't drop like a rock and my AFR went from 13.0 down to 10.8 and well, you know you can't make power running rich. The 637HP was at 5800 RPMs and it would have kept going up but I started losing bottle pressure at 5300 RPMs and down she went.
That was a G5X4, AFR205 heads, ported FAST 90/90, Kook 1.75" headers, RPM T56 with a Textralia OZ700 clutch, Strange 12 bolt with 4.30 gears. It got down from a dig. It wasn't a highway racer with it running out of gear at 120mph but hell it did pull damn good in 5th gear against James.
On motor the car made 460/430. Peak power was at 6300 RPMs and torque was at 4800 RPMs and I had 400 tq from 4300 RPMs all the way to 6000rpms

The LT1 Z28 with the 383 Has the NANO system. He LOVES it. He even put that same NANO kit on BLACKHAWKLS1TA's car the last month of 2009. It WORKS! Thats all I got to say. It keeps the car VERY consistent on the bottle. (Granted the car leaves the same every time)
As for Purdueranger's car, That was the best race I had ALL season last year. From a dig, with him on the bottle, he would've beat me. (hands down) His car was FAST! It's Just too bad he doesn't have it anymore. IT RAN HARD!!!

That is a good question.
I've seen snow in April a few times and I have seen snow in May 1 time. But usually we're done with it by Late March or Early April at the latest. (Well In most cases it seems.) It is Indiana weather so no "for sure" time!
I just hope Winter goes away soon this year.

As for me, I'm usually cruising the southside and I will stop in for a little bit at the O'Reilly's and then gather up some guys and go cruising and then will go to "THE SPOT" to get in some dig races.

Here's a link to pictures of my car in case you see me around. Feel free to post some of yours if you'd like to.

Especially after it rains 1 minute, the sun comes out the next and then snows right after that. All of which is on a 50 degree day. LOLGotta love Indy! haha
It's funny that someone asked about how I like the NANO setup, Marches edition of Hot Rod explains /talks about why they love, which is exactly why I love it too.
The NANO is an amazing concept: It keeps your bottle pressure perfect all the way down the track, unlike a pusher system or bottle heater. It allows twice as many passes per bottle because it uses every drip of nitrogen in the bottle.
So overall, it keeps you from running to lean or too rich which keeps your engine alive and your ET consistant =) Big fan of it
Even though some big guys like Steve don't like it, Some Big guys like Monte Do!!! & Monte knows Nitrous!!! Years and Years of Experience. Hands down my go to for Nitrous Guy
