Hey Everybody! WHOOO - HOOOO! I bought a house! Now I just have to Close on it! lol
Just got the news a few minutes ago the inspection passed, and the seller is gonna fix the stuff that needed repaired!
Oh, and my 9 inch is Finally done at MWC. Going to pick it up on Saturday!
My Racetronix Fuel System is on the way, Got a new fuel pressure gauge and relocating it to the firewall under the cowl, and also gonna get a re-tune very soon!
Looks like my day just became a lil bit better!
*Looking at the TSP 100mm MAF, FAST-Toys 104mm lid, FAST 102mm Intake, FAST 102mm TB, and a set of NASTY Performance Billet Fuel Rails that work with the FAST 102 Cathedral Port Intake setup! <---- That will cover the whole air intake setup on my car anyways!
*Probably NOT Gonna have it ready for the Indy Streetcar Shootout! Since I'll have a TON of stuff to do by next weekend!

Is it the lockup function? I know a couple people that have had problems with the lockup function on yanks going bad.
FWIW my sisters has a yank in it and I am happy with the way it drives though. I am interested in how it will compare to my Circle D.
Also congrats on the house, its a big step in the growing process. Hopefully you got the garage you love and the house that she loves I know thats how it worked out with our house.

I've had mine for 1 1/2 years now, and this is my first time having an issue with it. I'm almost 95% positive it's the converter.
It doesn't lock-up anymore, but now it feels like I blew through it!

No it's not the lock-up that was really the issue. Although I did send it back for a cut and clean after my tranny went out, and after I put it back in the car, It hasn't locked up 1 time since then! But what the car is doing is when I putt around town, it drives awesome, BUT when I get into it and the converter flashes (at 4000+ rpms) It gets a VERY BAD vibration through the whole car and then doesn't really pull very hard anymore. It's down on power at that point! But under 4000 rpm's it's GREAT!

I too love how it drives... Just not anymore. hahaha

i was in greenwood last night just cruisin around. i usually am over on the westside on the weekend, but i know greenwood is where everyone usually is, and with me living on the southside its not far. but is there somewhere where you all usually meet up?? cuz i did see a couple nice fbodies, but it was pretty much just a rice fest. I drove through a couple parking lots where i saw alot of cars, and it was like the freaking fast and the furious scene. where do you guys go??

James you get that car going yet... ill give you all next weekend to work on it before we do some rolls. AND since you have 2 women with you all the time, a pimp like you should bring me a couple too i have 3 empty seats. (i wouldn't want to have a lighter car i mean)
