I like to see you race that same cobra this year since he has been solid in the mid to low 10's this year still on stock block and a eaton. Then larry up the ante on his, guess your lucky no shoot out you might not even made the show.
James - You just want your belts to go straight back off your shoulders around the bar. If the bar is too much lower and your should height in a front impact you could compact your spine. Hence never floor mount shoulder belts to stock seat brackets. Looks cool, but very dangerous.

But thanks for the tip. I'm pretty sure my shoulders would be even with the cross-bar. I'm a short fellow, and can barely see over the steering wheel. lol!

Hey yall, I just wanted to let you know that I have opened my own business. So if you need stuff, don't hesitate to ask. We deal mostly with imports parts but I have a huge outreach for about everything. Clutches, turbos, nitrous, stereo equipment, etc.. All kinds of stuff from the big name manufacturers. James (LT1formula007) can vouch for the type of person I am if you have any doubts. Just PM me what you're looking for since I can't really give the website openly. 20%off of orders of $250 or more, and I'll set up a group buy for stuff too. Just get together and let me know what you're interested in.

You guys think a mail order tune will be fine with torquer v2 cam only car with full bolt ons? I just dont see myself getting the 450 for the dyno tune anytime soon. And if you think it will work, is there a good person or company to email or talk too?

Call up Ron and Priscilla at Pro Dyno Tech. www.prodynotech.com, and tell them that Jeff Trowbridge said to give them a call about a possible tune and see what they will do for ya.

Agreed, Steve at Frost is who I would recommend for a mail order tune.

babbage, dont waste your money on a 10 bolt. look for a used rearend with 3:73's for cheap or get a 3.42 rearend out of any 6 speed f body from 94 to 02. (93 had 3:23's)

It's a problem with a lot of c5's. Fixed it today. It's got headers,tr224,intake, zo6 diff and trans. Immaculate car picked it up for less than I sold the camaro for . Plus white frc's are rare

Ahhh ok! I gotcha now chris. The whole cage thing is new to me considering I always street race and never saw it necessary. Now that I want to actually do the stuff legally, (at the track) thats why I'm adding all the pvc stuff to the car.
But thanks for the tip. I'm pretty sure my shoulders would be even with the cross-bar. I'm a short fellow, and can barely see over the steering wheel. lol!
