Hey David, I pulled the rearend apart today at work, and found that I chewed the spider gears up. All od my bearings looked good, so I didn't change them. I'm gonna have to look into getting another rearend asap. I just sold my other rearend I had laying around last wednesday! Go figure. I had it for almost a year and never had a problem. Then I sell it and my rearend breaks. Thats the kind of luck I deal with on the daily!

Yep never fails.....
Oh' Well Just gonna have to find another 1 to put in.
If worst case I'll grab a v6 rearend and blow off the RR tire everywhere I go!
Or I could always weld the axles in the v6 rearend! That'd be fun!

I think I have found 1 but haven't made a deal with the guy yet. It's a stock 10 bolt with 4.10's that was installed last summer and makes no noise. It's local too! So we'll see how it goes...... Since I got By the 10 bolt!

Wish me luck!

as far as i'm concerned the nitto 555r tire is worthless. my buddy's completely stock 00 b4c car would annihilate those tires from a 20 roll...and they were 325s on wheels that weighed 60lb a piece hahaha. i hate them.

Sure, we can burn the old motor and tranny hahaha, well maybe not all of it .

I need to take pics off the fuel lines when I get them out, I am honestly suprised the car did not burn down on its own.........

Don't feel bad David, I got the Iroc running finally after almost a year. But THEN I went to KFC and came back out to start it and it wouldn't start. YEP! The damn starter went out so needless to say I had to kick rocks for the first time in over 2 1/2 yrs. and then I started realizing why I HATE TURDGENS..... Sorry man they're turds. I hate em! Well I went to the parts store and bought a new starter and the damn NEW 1 was messed up. As soon as you started it the sylenoid stuck and wouldn't stop cranking the motor. So I yanked that POS out and went to the house and found a used 1 I had laying around and BAM it works great. WTF is the world coming to when a BRAND NEW starter is a POS. Man I'll tell you parts are getting made cheaper by the minute. So yeah I had a BAD day..... Hope tomorrow is better! I have to drive it to work. If not, I'll burn the slow *** ****!

Funny thing is I have a new battery and a starter that both work great in my garage waiting for a new home and YOU pulled the starter

I got a battery for my fiances car a few months back and it was bad...

You just need to tell Amber that you are ditching the motor in the IROC for a 468 that you know of sitting in someone garage............

It even has a full BBC in a 3rd gen exhaust!

Glad to hear you got the CAMARO going. They will always give you trouble, you know.
AFA parts are concerned, avoid everything made in Chino, (yeah, I know it's spelled with an "a"), anything remanufactured, and try to find one with a lifetime warranty. It's well worth the extra cost, vesus being stuck in a KFC parking lot with the old lady yelling at you (yeah, I heard you, Amber, it wasn't his fault).
