Ahhh, I remember crusing down 31. Those were the good ol days.

 

And sadly, I have never grown out of doing it myself. The good ol days are long gone. There is nothing like there used to be down there anymore.

 

Yeah it's fun, I love racing and meeting new people out there too! Hell almost all of my friends that I hang with I have met down there on US31.
But apparently thats why I am an idiot though. I guess just cuz I race on the street or something.... Things have changed quite a bit in the past few years down there. But the cars I think are still getting faster each year and new cars are showing up as well. Besides the imports, they just **** me off all the way around.

I think more then anything people are pissed at the people that race ON 31. To many people out there and we all know I used to do it.

Way safer to be out in the middle of the boonies when it comes to other people.

The people that try and stay off 31 are the guys like me that had close calls or trashed there cars.

I trashed two wheels on my last car (curb rash) and almost crashed it and rolled it and I firmly beleive it would have killed me or really messed me up. For some they do crash, the lucky ones live.

Those things really wake you up.

 

You think you could get something set up with your friend with the TT vette? Last time his wife or g/f wanted to go right when I was leaving to go run him. If not its cool.. figured I'd ask.. its tuff to find good races in Indy.

 

He will race anyone lol. James has his number.

What kind of bike? Im down to get more then one race in at once... gas is expensive!!

 

Just a 600. It's so slow it can't even wheelie.

BTW, the races we arrange will be nowhere near US31. I have a spot in mind and me and slow5.0 have already talked about. It's alot safer, and would be best at night.

 

Its nothing that impressive, LS2 with a TT STS kit and some tune work. Last I heard its still on street tires.

Quick for what it is and super nice guy.

 

Bike isn't anything special either. Stock 600 motor, Yosh exhaust, 64" WB, Lowered 3", PC III, small shot, and street tires.
