Thats ok. I have lived around Indianapolis for 12 years and had absolutely NO clue were Travis was. There would have been 2 MIA's if James hadn't come with me

Well I have the alignment done now. Toe was off by 1.5", eek. That's what I get for changing the tie-rod ends by myself and not by a trained ASE techie. But now the car just threw an injector impedence circuit code and Auto Zone will no longer clear codes, new policy they put in. I hate to say this but this was the first trip over 10 miles that I have put on the car since November, this was the first week the car has left the garage.

When I had my LT1 car I ran the codes at Autozone and they guy just said here you do it. I saw what it was and cleared it and he said "you not supposed to do that".

Not that I cared.

I need to get my wifes car aligned, it broke a tie rod, we just counted the turns that it took to take it off and did the same amount to put it back on untill we can get it in.

I got mine done at sears and they put it back to the facotry specs. It was off a bunch but they got it all good. The manager at the auto zone in fishers is pretty cool but he said that it is a $30,000 if they are caught clearing codes.

My code was the injector circuit one. I just took apart each injector connector and sprayed them with contact cleaner and the code went away.

I saw a scan tool on clearance @ Wal-Mart for $45...it would read codes, clear them, etc. Anyone know how much a typical device like that costs?

LOL, I said 13.5 @ 130 because the car is VERY traction limited. It made 551 at the wheels but doesn't hook very well at all.

Been busy guys, Not to mention my computer crashed so I can only get online at my work But anyways just wanted to say whats up to everyone and let everyone know how the cars coming along!

Update on the 98 Z28: Ordered my PS LT's from TSP yesterday and have to give a BIG... "THANK YOU" to John at TSP. Thanks for the help and thanks for working with me on the CC mishap!
Also gonna order my TSP TD's this coming Monday if all goes well!
Should have the K- Member, engine, and transmission back in the car and ready to bolt everything back up by this weekend as long as nothing else comes up unexpectedly. I'm hoping to have the car running sometime this coming month. My plan is to have it done by the end of July as I have said all along!

Wish me Luck guys! I'm hoping I like the LS1 ALOT more than the LT1. Although the LT1 is still gonna be my DD even after I get the LS1 Running!

Future plans include a TSP h/c package along with a Vigilante 3800 Stall and a K&N Filter to top off the SLP Lid I have now!
Also some suspension and some gears are in the works as well.
I'm not digging the 2.73 gears. I hate them damn gears!
Also (been contemplating on which manufacturer), But I plan on putting in a 6 point cage with swing-outs... I may go with the "Wolfe" Style Cage! IDK
