alot of bikes are pretty nasty.... i was never close to being beat on my 1000 and it was stock....

Also, although it may not be anything super special now, it's going to be. He has a few items he's looking into and when it's done, It will straight **** and get.

But for what he has done to it, It's fast. And Hell! He can hang with quite a few bikes, so that has to say something for his combo.

Even though I'd get my *** handed to me, I just don't like to run many bikes b/c it's too dangerous. If anything was to happen and someone got hurt, I'd feel bad. And not to mention I'd prolly face some kind of charges for it!

Most of them are anyways. There are a few guys who have 10 and 9 second cars that will run em down or beat them depending on driver and traction issues.... But finding the 10 and 9 second guys around is hard to do.

Does anyone know the guy in the Blue Malibu with the stripes up it? He runs high 10 second passes and he is not afraid to race anybody either. I met him a few weeks in a row on 31 and he seems really cool. He has a badass ride, and I would like to see him run a few guys. Or bikes for that matter.

Well, I do know for a fact that his car is not up to par as far as the tune goes. I'd like to see it with some gears, radials or slicks, properly tuned, and a little more boost than what he is running on it now! Then it would start to come alive. I do know he put down 507 at the wheels last time he had it tuned. So if you guys want some numbers, there you go!
All bs aside, I guess I do have to agree with you s346k on only trapping 122 in the 1/4, but he still has the factory 2.53 gears. I believe they are 2.53- I know they are somewhere around there. 2.5X! ??
And he does not have a stall or enough tire to plant his power to the ground from a dig and the 1-2 shift. He just blows them off. But he has a few things he's looking into and it may start to run a little better when it's all said and done! BTW on the interstate (thanks to the gears) it pulls really good. You guys should've been there when him and Terry in the Cobra raced on 465. It was badass! Those cars haul man!

 

Not hard to find the faster guys, you just don't see them cruising up and down 31, race gas is to expensive for that not to mention parts, just have to know were to look for them and behined what buildings.

With gears and radials that car would move, not to mention getting the tune down. Pretty sure its a stock internal motor also.

It will move after he gets a few things but no matter what he gets it will not be that impressive untill it has some gears in it and radials.

Last summer I was making about the same amount of power on the motor as he was and out of the hole I would have spanked him so bad he would still be feeling it today. I think thats why he did not want to race. He knows its sucks donkey ***** out of the hole lol. After like second gear the car moves but racing serious cars you better hook. A lot of cars doing 7X mph going into second.


How bad did Terry beat him? Unless they did some high MPH stuff I bet it was pretty ugly

They raced from about 60 MPH on the interstate. It wasn't too bad but Terry was spinning the tires and feathering the gas. Got him by a few cars though.

 

David, Slow5.0 got a run in with the TT Vette last night as well. They we're a good race thats for sure. I ran his buddy in a Mustang (Fox Body) that was with him and it too was a decent race. Had fun and both of the guys we're pretty cool guys.....
Also got a run in with an White LS1 Trans Am on 31. Don't know if he is on here or not, but it was a good race. I beat him the first time and he got me the second time. If your on here- good race man!

It was a pretty decent night after all.

 

Slow5.0. - That was a good race last night. You guys we're really close. Did you ever get the video of it? If you did, would you send me a link to it? I'd like to see it from your point of view and not mine with you guys coming up fast.

Tell your buddy in the Mustang I said good race also. He was a pretty good run. Definentely 1 of the better running foxes. Most guys just put exhaust and tires on them and expect them to be fast. But anyways, If you want to come out next Saturday to the meet at Edwards on Raymond and Sherman, LMK. Hopefully some guys will show up!

2.53 gears? I am not a Vette guy, but I know my brother's Vette came with 3.08 from the factory. Why would they put such a shitty gear in?
