Thats my same reaction when I talked to him about it. He said he's thinking about what setup he wants to go with, but something is gonna have to happen sooner or later.
GM obviously wasn't thinking about performance there.
Maybe it had something to do with Gas mileage to meet EPA Standards for the highway! Either way it's gay!

Yeah that was a kick-a$$ race.
I had my hands full with that Fox as well. Couldn't really be much closer than that. Well at least with a fox body stang. Most foxes on 31 are slow. But his ran good.
So when are you bringing yours out?
And if you want to meet up next weekend at Edwards Drive In on Raymond and Sherman, I'm holding a meet there. So some of us can get to know a few of the others around town. You should come man!

haha 507 whp corvette trapping 122 is like the 645 whp gto that trapped 123 at us 41 last year. dyno numbers mean little to nothing. i'm a fan of using the track as a gage. apparently i'm old school because i saw a "dyno war" call-out on IC and laughed my *** off. it was between 2 blown mustangs, go figure.

Thats interesting.. I imagine they do that for fuel economy. Im no expert but I would imagine that having such a tall gear... and a 19 inch tire through an auto would really hurt your 1/8th mile trap speed. Thats alot to get moving early. I'd be curious to see how much mph he picks up from 1/8th to 1/4 mile.

I also got a good run in with an 05+ Gt with Lt's, full exhaust, gears, and CAI.
From a dig I had him by about a car at around 80.
It was a good night, first time I have a fun in a long time.

And as far as dyno #'s Your right that doesn't mean anything in real world driving I do know know that as well. There's alot of Dyno Queens running around that do NOT perform as they should!

I think you should change the title to that video to TT vette fly by.. there was no vs .. i just blew the tires off and let off I like how you said I got beat ;-). Sorry I didnt stop to talk to you guys afterwards, my car had a bad electrical issue (wasnt sure what it was at the time) and I didnt want to stop so I went strait home.

The 2 relays in my wireing harness (fuel pump/eec) got moisture in them from me washing the car and it ruined them. There fixed now the car is running good..
