I just moved to the indy area and I drive a 2000 A4 T/A. Long story short I'm getting bored on the weekends. So this is what I'm proposing.... I think it might be awesome to get a weekly/monthly meet up for us pontiac guys well for all gm muscle cars for that matter. But I don't know anyone up here so maybe this will help. What do you guys think, do you think its a good idea, where should we meet up, what time should we meet, do you think we should have rules/races.
Hopefully this gets out there.
Theres usually not much going on in the winter, but starting in probably April there is usually a meet every saturday night at rpm performance on the south side. There is usually a pretty good turn out of fbodies and vettes, but you'll see a little bit of everything! Also, starting I think 3/31 or 4/6 this year and lasting into october just about every wednesday is tent n' tune/ open track night at Lucas Oil Raceway. I'm sure there is more stuff too, but those are the main things I like to go to.

Default It's been a while.

I just bought a 1987 2.8l sports coupe a few weeks ago. Needs brakes. I'm looking for anyone in indianapolis that has done the big brake upgrade or at least knows how to do it. Trying to be the most cost effective as possible going from 10" to 12"+ front brakes. I'm eventually going to a 5.3 upgrade.

Anyone do tuning local? Before I send it out to frost. Just couple bolt ins, a code delete and any help for auto.

Bringing it back!! It’s been awhile since I have been on LS1TECH and started a new user name. Use to post on this thread almost ten years ago. Still in Columbus area but usually head to Indy when I get the car out.

I now have a built 99frc, I’m usually on the corvette forum but it just seems really dead now.

I got got my feet wet last year with the car and plan on doing more this year (cruises/track passes). Lmk who’s out there still.

Thanks

Harbaugh

It's sad but it seems most of the forums are pretty dead these days. Seems to me the traffic has moved to Facebook for the most part. Bob

It’s 30k a year but far more enjoyable than an econobox! I have almost doubled the miles on it since I got it.

I haven't gotten out much except to the strip in the last couple years, but still lurk the forums from time to time. Hopefully I can get another car built so I can get this one back on the street.

Thats what I’m working towards is the track if I ever make it with my c5. I go out to RPM some weekends and sit in my chair nowadays...

my car is currently apart. Went for a tune and all kinds of heck broke loose. Dropped lifters, cam destroyed. Hopefully be back together next week. Unfortunately I was gonna have a 10point cage put in but this set me back a couple months. I upgraded the drivetrain more this winter so it’s good to go. The car made 933/956 before it dropped a lifter. Trying to break the 1k mark but idk if it will happen. I just wanna get some seat time and go to the track.

what hood is this? Ws9? How is the fit, and how much prep work did it need? I've been looking everywhere for a "decently" priced oem ram air hood, but I love the aggressive look of yours. Hard to tell from the picture, but does it have those heat extraction holes in it?
