I'm still lurking. The new engine is pretty much built, just waiting on parts for the STS return line to the pan. Jeff seems to think it will be a beast. Just because it should be about 600 rwhp at decent boost with the methanol injection. Probably be able to keep up with an LS1.

 

Should rape alotta people with a setup like that!
I guess I need to sell the old LS1 and go with a 402 with N2O huh!

Buy a nice daily driver it will be the best money you ever spent.

I will never sacrafice a nice daily for my wife of me again.

I am excited to be getting rid of her 4runner for a G8.

 

If I can get a good enough of a deal on a Cobalt I think I will do it. 3 tone is a good car but its starting to show its age.

My wifes car has a few more years to go before we will consider a replacement but then again if we can sell it and turn around and get a cobalt with the money then.........


A G8 would be cool but right now I am trying to stay as debt free as I can.

I don't even own a credit card hahaha.

The same reason I got rid of my 94 Jeep with 153k miles and bought a Dodge Ram.

 

I know a guy that just got a new dodge truck and as long as he is the owner (keeps it) he gets an unlimited powertrain warrenty for life, miles and years...

 

Yeah the are a lot of incentives to buy new cars going on right now.

Honestly I don't know what you plan to spend but you might find that you can buy a new cobalt for the same price as a used one especially when you figure in the APR % depending on wheather you finace it or not.

 

Looking at a few lightly used ones for 10k an under but only if I can get 0%.
